Parts of Ghana have been flooded once again.
Ghana has some part which get flooded almost every raining season. This season too some places havd been flooded.
The floods were caused by heavy rainfalls in Accra and parts of the Central Region.
The rains initially fell on Friday evening, October 9, 2020.
And on Saturday morning, there were heavy downpours again, leaving parts of the national capital flooded.
Parts of Accra’s suburbs such as Spintex, experienced flooding yesterday.
And today, areas around Mallam, the Kasoa Tollbooth, among others have suffered floodings.
Vehicles could be seen being swept away by the floods.
Ghana has over the years suffered perennial floodings.
Even though state officials claim to be fixing the root cause of the floodings, year in year out, the country faces this problem, with apparently no end in sight.
